FAQ

We work directly through Apple's Business Manager program and use their Mobile Device Management technology to custom-configure your child's iPhone. It's the same secure technology that schools and companies use for their devices.

Once we set up these restrictions based on your choices, your child cannot bypass, disable, or remove them. Only you can request changes through your Parent Account. Our phones ship brand new, directly from Apple's warehouses.

We cannot and do not monitor your personal data. Apple's security architecture specifically prevents our configuration from accessing:

  • Messages, calls, or personal communications
  • Photos, files, or personal content
  • Location data or browsing history
  • App-specific data or passwords

Our configuration ONLY controls which apps can be installed and which websites can be accessed. Nothing more.

Yes. You can restore from an iCloud or iTunes backup during setup. All your child's photos, messages, contacts, and app data will transfer over. Our parental controls remain permanently in place regardless of backups or restores - the restrictions cannot be bypassed this way.

It is impossible to download any apps that you've blocked, or haven't approved via whitelisting. On the off chance your child attempts to perform a factory reset on the phone, they will be required to enter the Apple ID password associated with the device to get back in. So as long as they do not have your Apple ID password, then yes, there are truly zero workarounds.

If a factory reset is performed, the device will automatically reconnect to our management system and reapply all restrictions when it connects to the internet. This happens seamlessly through Apple's Business Manager program.

We provide a one-step solution to a safe device for your child. By having us professionally configure the device, you ensure the restrictions stay permanent, without consistent monitoring or maintenance. Blocked apps aren't even visible on the device.

Standard parental controls can be easily bypassed or disabled. Our professional configuration creates multiple layers of protection that work together. This provides peace of mind and consistent parenting boundaries, all while respecting the privacy of your child.

Yes. All of our iPhones fully support eSIM technology. You can easily transfer your child's existing phone number using eSIM in just a few minutes during setup. This works with all major carriers including Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.

If your child's current phone uses a physical SIM card, you can either convert it to eSIM through your carrier or continue using the physical SIM in the new device; our phones support both options.

Yes. If at any time you decide you no longer want to restrict your child's phone use, you can perform a factory reset on the device, which will erase our blocking settings. You will need your Apple ID login to regain access to the device once it has been reset.

Yes! You can use your existing Apple ID or your child's Apple ID with the CorePhone. All your existing iCloud data, photos, messages, and purchased apps (that aren't blocked) will sync normally. Our parental controls work alongside your Apple ID, not instead of it.

During setup, you'll sign in with your Apple ID just like any other iPhone. Your child can use FaceTime, iMessage, and all other Apple services with their existing account.

Important: Only you (the parent) can request app restriction changes through your Parent Account. Your child cannot modify the restrictions themselves.

No. Only you (the parent) can request changes to app restrictions through your secure Parent Account. Your child has no ability to modify, bypass, or request changes to the restrictions.

When you need to add or remove apps, you simply log into your Parent Account and submit a request. We'll then update your child's phone remotely. This ensures you maintain complete control while being able to adapt restrictions as your child grows.

Unfortunately, AppleCare+ cannot be added to CorePhone devices. The special configuration we use to maintain permanent parental controls is incompatible with Apple's AppleCare+ program.

However, the device still comes with Apple's standard one-year limited warranty, and you can protect it with a good case and screen protector. Many third-party insurance options are also available that work with configured devices.
